Cassidy Phillips came to my house worked with me and within a few days we had changed my bike fit, given me the ability to run again. I couldn't train for a year, I was a mess and in one week Cassidy allowed me to get back to the life style I enjoyed. When it comes to biomechanics and muscular structure you don't get much better. I felt so strong after he left that I wanted to have a come back to race Kona. Didn't happen, but that's ok because all I really wanted was the lifestyle. - Peter Reid, 3 time Ironman World Champion
Chris Lieto Professional Ironman Triathlete Cassidy has worked with me for years. It's amazing what he's able to see from a biomechanical perspective. I have enjoyed fine tuning the way that I ride and run bbased on Cassidy's knowledge. If you ever have the chance to work with him do it, it's well worth the time and money.

Jim Vance Pro Triathlete and Training Bible Coach
Cassidy Phillips has taught me about the key muscle groups which tend to lead to injury if not given the proper attention. He has helped me to maximize my training and recovery efforts by identifying the areas which most likely to hinder me. He has explained and gotten me to understand the chain of the body structure, and how one injured muscle can disrupt the entire chain. The use of the products on the muscle groups which are likely to disrupt this chain has kept me healthy, and performing to my best, with little energy or effort, and making injuries a thing of the past.
Hi
Cassidy! I was very happy when my massage ball came - I've been having
lots of tightness in my glutes and hips, and after the first use there
was a great release in that area. It felt great and has made running
more enjoyable. Thanks so much! You have an incredible product, so
effective and easy to use!
– Nika
“Cassidy
it came together! I made it from 15 painful run miles per week in May,
to finishing the Roth Ironman on the fourth of July. My run time 3:27
was a bit slower than I wanted but it wasn't my foot that slowed me
down, it was my under trained quads that started cramping in the last
10k.
Results 9:18 42nd overall 1st in 45-49.
I'm sure I
would not have even started if you hadn't set me up with the massage
ball! I still have light dull pains in the rupture and cuboid areas but
I would think that has to be from the healing of damaged bone and
tendons.
- Joe Bonness, Triathlete, 2004
“.....For
me physically my legs are felling amazing and I will not do a workout
without doing some TP work in advance. My super sore and tight IT band
is now no longer tight and sore. I was not even going to work on that
as my hamstring was the main issue but now I can put all my weight on
the Quad Baller which was impossible a few weeks ago. It now only takes
about 5 total minutes to do my entire body. Thanks again.” - Shannon Kurek, President, HFP Racing
"The
balls are the best. When I use them just for a little while before and
event or workout. I always perform better and feel like my legs can do
so much more. More power and more speed. It is a must in my training
and recovery."
- Chris Lieto, Pro Triathlete
“Once
learning to use TP Massage Balls correctly I quickly learnt the value
of these products. I use them daily to prevent injuries and to give my
body the optimal chance to perform at it's best by increasing my
flexibility and power output. TP Massage ball products are a great size
so I can travel with it in my backpack anywhere I go.
- Kate Major, Pro Triathlete
“I
have the full TP massage ball package and I think I use at least one of
the tools everyday – regardless if it’s a training or a rest day. I had
surgery for Compartment Syndrome when I was in high school in both of
my calves. Muscle tightness and fatigue have been a chronic problem
throughout my ski career. Right now my ski technique is so dependent
upon explosive powerful foot and calf muscles. I am able to achieve
this because a main component of my recovery is spending time using
either the TP massage ball or the rollers. I am able to overcome a
potentially huge obstacle because I’ve got the tools to control it.
Massage is great and appreciated, but using Trigger Point Technology’s
products and resources I am learning so much more about how my muscles
work and how to take the best of care. This knowledge is invaluable in
becoming an elite skier.”
- Haley Johnson, 23, US Biathlon Development Team member (Nordic Skiing and Marksmanship), Lake Placid, NY/Fort Kent, ME
“As
a national ranked freestyle skier, Trigger Point Technology has been
very beneficial to my training and recovery from a shoulder injury.
With massage therapy being just as important as physical therapy during
my recovery period, although not always affordable, tp massage balls
and rollers were a great answer. Stretching is a part of my daily
regime, so it was natural to integrate these tools, like the quadballer
to loosen my IT Band. It’s awesome! Traveling all over North America
for training and competitions it is great to have everything you need
to perform well - not just while you’re at home training. Also, I drive
a lot to ski, so while traveling the baller block is a savior for those
post driving days!”
- Kara Johnson, 20, Competitive Freestyle Mogul Skier, Lake Placid, NY/Boulder, CO
"These
are some of the most important tools an athlete can have to stay injury
free and improve performance. After just a short routine using the
equipment, I feel instant results."
- Sarah Haskins Kortuem, USAT National Elite Team, Colorado Springs, CO 1st US Open | Dallas, TX 2nd Pan Am Games | Brazil 2nd ITU World Cup | Vancouver, BC 4th ITU HyVee World Cup | Des Moines, IA
"Trigger Point - Haven't had calf problems since we got it. Nuff said!"
- Joe Umphenour, USAT World Championship Team – 2007, Colorado Springs, CO
"The
various techniques and instruments help me stay injury free. It is
remarkable how effective Trigger Point is at getting rid of the "junk"
in your legs after quality workouts. It allows you to recover super
fast and come back stronger the next day."
- John Dahlz, USAT Elite Development Team, San Francisco, CA
“I
just happened to step into the Trigger Point booth at Outdoor Retailer
this past year and after just a few minutes of demonstration work with
the products, I was hooked. I walked away from the booth with the TP
Total Body Package and have used it daily ever since and the results
have been awesome. Along with my training, recovery and injury
prevention are two key aspects to my performance and by using TP
Therapy it allows me to take those aspects to another level. After just
minutes into a session, I feel instant release and flexibility. It is
quick, easy, mobile and I can do it myself. If you do not have one yet,
you should try it.”
- Pua Sawicki, Professional Endurance Mountain Bike Racer
“I
can’t believe how well these products work! I take them with me on
every trip, and use them before and after each hard workout, as well as
races. I couldn’t recommend these products more! If you value massage,
then this is the best home massage kit you can get. Get it and you’ll
experience healthy, consistent training, and better performances.”
- Jim Vance, Training Bible coach, Southern California
“I
had doubts when I purchased the Trigger Point system. I was preparing
to run in my first marathon at the age of 41, but after I had done my
longest run of 14 miles, I thought I would never be able to run it
because of severe pain that I developed. The next morning I woke up
with the worst pain I have ever had in my right foot. For the next
week, I was in such severe pain that I dreaded waking up and hitting
the floor. I limped around for one week. I tried the sock device at
night but it only seems to temporarily help. I bought the Trigger Point
system for plantar fasciitis, and within less than one week, I noticed
a difference. Since then I ran several training races, 20 miles, 30k,
and this weekend I will be running the Cleveland Marathon. I have since
become a believer in your system.”
- John T., Pittsburgh, PA
“The TP gear has been great - Natasha's ITB are much better and she's been doing the full routine with the quad roller, massage ball and foot roller 2x every day hitting the pressure points and loosening up prior and post each run. The running has progressed well and is pretty close to 100% at this point. The TP tools have definitely been a big part of her rehab as they've allowed her to do more therapy on her own time. It also helps prior to heading out the door for a run.”
- Joel Filliol, Professional Endurance Coach, CompetitionZone.com http://www.competitionzone.com/natasha/race-reports/2005/feb_05.htm
“Hi Cassidy,
Just
to give you a little info that you will like....I was the one having
some calf issues (still having minor minor issues) but no longer have
to take any time off since using your products. I go to an ART
specialist about once a month. She felt my calf area and said that the
tissue/muscles feel totally different. Night and day and said it's
really come a long way. This is before I told her what I was using so
it was totally unbiased. The ball and roller hurt tremendously when I
first started to use it, I could not believe it, but now I can roll
around with little to zero discomfort. It's a regular part of my
training now. Thanks!
What is cool is that I DO feel I have some
control in getting me to my major races without injury and not being at
the mercy of whatever happens. Isn't funny how some people resist this
so much? I can't believe how many people spend hundreds of dollars on
race entry fees but they won't spend 60 bucks on ART or 100 on the
massage ball set-very frustrating.”
- Renne Richards, going to worlds triathlon 2005
“I'm
emailing to say that the TP Massage Ball is great. I had always used a
tennis ball and was skeptical about company claims that tennis balls
are too soft and lacrosse balls are too hard (i used both prior to The
Ball). Finally i started using The Ball in August and it's been perfect
for hitting my back, glute medius and piriformis. I usually strain a
calf and/or hammy every 3 months, but Ball use, combined with an
excellent personal pilates routine has allowed me stay healthy since
April '04. Since discovering how great it works, i've been telling
anybody with hammy, calf and/or IT pain that they need to go to
tpmassageball.com and learn how to take care of themselves, and that
they should certainly get The Ball.
I have a pre-med and massage
therapy background so i understand A&P and trigger points. As i
read your site info regarding the various pains/syndromes/injuries, it
all made sense and i realized that you guys know what you're doing.
Thanks for being so diligent and thorough.”
- Sam
“I
purchased your ball in 2004 at the HP Expo in Houston. It has
completely eliminated my need for weekly massages. My massage therapist
and I had discussed a ball like yours to eliminate my pain, but tennis
balls are too soft, baseballs are too hard and both are alittle too
large. I'm an ultra-marathon runner who had back surgery in March 2002.
Although my pain was better after surgery; once I upped the mileage my
back, hip, paraformis and hip flexors began to tighten causing pain and
poor running results. I was at the Houston Expo in 2004 on a Friday,
saw your demonstration but did not purchase the ball. I was so
intrigued by the concept, I went back on Saturday and for $25.00 saved
myself $40.00 per week in massages. I talked to you at the 2005 Expo
and told you my story, but felt I should share it with others who have
pain. I use the ball 3 times per week for about 5 minutes and run
between 50-75 miles per week. When I travel I used to make sure I
packed the pain pills and muscle relaxers, now I make sure I pack my
massage ball. To all who read this get on the ball and keep running
strong!”
- Rex Lindberg, R.N.
“Cassidy,
I
wanted to let you know that your quick treatment of my leg really
helped out yesterday. The first thing I noticed about an hour after you
worked on me was that my foot felt warm and full of blood. It was a
noticeably different feeling from the way it normally feels (kind of
clammy and my mortons neuroma area aches). On Sunday, I was able to
complete the marathon with no pain in my foot or my left shoulder
(amazing). Also kind of amazingly, my right leg (which never hurts -
and you didn't work on) is hurting today (IT band). I should have let
you work on both legs!!!”
